Foxtons has acquired Atkinson McLeod Limited representing further progress in their strategy of acquiring lettings businesses that deliver an attractive return on invested capital. We are pleased to have provided financial due diligence services along with transaction advisory to help ensure the transaction got over the line smoothly.

Who are the firms involved

Foxtons is London’s most prominent lettings agent with a portfolio now standing at more than 27,500 tenancies. 

Atkinson McLeod is a high-quality estate agent with a strong lettings business that generates 90% of its revenues (across c.1,100 tenancies). The company is London based, operating out of 4 offices (City, Canary Wharf, Kennington and Hackney)

What we liked about this deal and how we helped

Having previously assisted Foxtons with its acquisition of Douglas & Gordon in 2021 and both Stones Residential and Gordon & Co in 2022 it was a pleasure to work again with Chris Hough (CFO, Foxtons) and Andy Bushell (Director, Foxtons) in what was a very constructive process. Our team worked collaboratively with both buyer and seller to ensure a positive result was achieved, clearly explaining the steps and outlining the financial implications of the deal.
