Alex Judd - Partner

Alex joined Buzzacott in 2014 and is a Partner leading our Transaction Services team.

The team has advised on over 75 transactions over the last four years and now has 7 dedicated team members, including an Associate Director.

He works with high growth acquisitive businesses who are undertaking expansion through various acquisition strategies. These include corporate acquisitions, buy-and-build strategies, and international expansion (often US firms entering the UK market).

He also leads our private equity specialist team, advising funds on their investments and acquisitions. He also acts as a gateway to other Buzzacott private equity support services, including exit, valuation, audit and taxation support. 

Alex also works with banks, search funds and venture capital funds, performing due diligence on their target businesses.

The team advises on acquisitions in the £5m to £200m value range, and works with a wide range of Buzzacott teams, providing a full range of financial due diligence services under one roof. These include specialist teams for tax, R&D tax credits and VAT reviews. 

Alex possesses broad sector experience with specialisms in technology and software, professional services, consumer products, and digital media sectors. He has also worked as an auditor for FCA regulated clients, which has translated into Alex becoming a specialist in the FinTech sector.

Prior to joining Buzzacott, Alex worked at Rawlinson & Hunter, where he qualified as an ACA accountant.
