Sarah Prothero

Sarah is an Associate Director in the Business Tax team, advising large groups and leading the firm’s property tax offering.

She works across the real estate and construction sector, and supports trading groups with significant property holdings — including hotels, care homes, and crematoria. Her expertise spans capital allowances, debt structuring, group reorganisations, and property transactions. Sarah also supports insolvency firms with tax compliance and advisory on property disposals. She collaborates closely with Buzzacott’s Audit and VAT teams to deliver joined-up advice.

Recent work includes advising on the £80m refinancing of a London commercial property and structuring a UK property investment platform with £60m of assets.

Dual qualified as a chartered accountant and tax advisor, she delivers practical, commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s goals.
