Matt is ACA qualified and works with a wide variety of not-for-profit clients from charitable grant making trusts, membership organisations, housing and international NGOs to different educational organisations including single academy trusts, multi-academy trusts and further and higher education colleges.
He mostly assists clients with external statutory audit services. In addition to this, many of the clients that Matt works with are often faced with one-off challenges, which can arise at any moment. This regularly leads to advising on a variety of bespoke assignments. This could be performing due diligence on potential strategic partners for grant-making trusts, providing internal assurance to academy trusts or auditing grants for NGOs.
To ensure that clients are able to benefit from fully joined-up advice from a single point of contact, Matt also works alongside other specialist teams within the firm including Buzzacott’s Charity Tax and VAT, and Expatriate Tax Services teams to provide specialist advice to our clients.
Beyond his desk, he likes to travel and also enjoys playing and watching sports.
