Kate Saunders - Senior Manager

Kate joined Buzzacott in 2022 and is a Senior Manager in our Private Client team. 

Kate specialises in the UK taxation of onshore and offshore trusts, probate and estate administration, and trust and estate registration, for high-net-worth individuals, trustees, executors and Personal Representatives.

The rules, regulations and compliance requirements of trusts, probate and estates, as well as the taxation issues that surround them, can be complex. In some cases, trustees or personal representatives require professional advice to deal with the challenges for which they are responsible. As a specialist, Kate advises clients on effective solutions to deal with matters as they arise, supports them with meeting their obligations and provides peace of mind that the issues have been dealt with correctly.

Kate is able to draw on the expertise of some of our other teams to support clients with various aspects of the probate process. Together with our Expatriate Tax team, Kate advises on probate for US citizens that have UK assets or UK source income, with our Corporate Finance team she helps those looking for a valuation or to sell a business that forms part of an estate, and with our Financial Planning team she supports clients who have received an inheritance. 

Kate is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), and is qualified via the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Outside of work, she likes to spend time combining her enjoyment for travelling and walking, with her interest in photography.
