Overview of the deal

Working alongside other professional advisors, we provided a full service for the transaction, starting with financial and tax due diligence before moving into negotiating the EV Bridge and reviewing relevant sections of the SPA.

Led by George Thresh, the team was also made up of Alex Judd, Catriona Soden, Maurice Von Bertele and Andrea Lupson.

Who were the firms involved?

Ives & Co Solicitors was founded in 1988, and is an established consumer legal services provider with offices in Nottingham, Ruddington, and Kent. They specialise in residential and commercial conveyancing in addition to wills and probate services.

River Cam Group is a traditional search fund led by Louis Lew and backed by multiple investors. The Ives & Co acquisition represents the first step in a buy and build strategy focused on providing long-term succession solutions to SME law firm owners in the UK.
