Trevor Egan - Partner.

Trevor joined Buzzacott in 2000 and is a Partner in our Expatriate Tax Services team.

He works with international high net worth individuals with complex US/UK cross border tax affairs, non UK domiciliaries and individuals who are dual residents. As well as analysis of US/UK tax residence matters, Trevor advises on UK remittance planning, international pension structuring, FATCA reporting obligations and the US/UK tax consequences of dual nationality marriage and divorce. Late filer cases and IRS penalty issues are further areas where he assists our clients.

A recognised authority on the US/UK tax treaty and the use of US treaties in general, Trevor is enrolled to practice before the US IRS and has more than 25 years’ experience in providing effective tax solutions to US citizens and non domiciliaries living in the UK. His considerable US tax expertise has benefitted not only ‘Expat’ team clients, but also those of our Private Client and Financial Planning teams.

Trevor is Chair of the Buzzacott Expatriate Tax Technical Committee.
