"I enjoy working with Americans living in or moving to the UK. Whether they’re doing business here, raising a family, buying property or repatriating to the States, I help them with some of life’s biggest decisions and make sure their US tax obligations are managed carefully."

Sam joined Buzzacott in 2016 and is an Associate Director in our Expatriate Tax Services team.

Sam is well-versed in the typical, and sometimes a-typical, tax challenges that US expatriates in the UK face, and he’s committed to helping clients overcome them. Sam's in-depth knowledge of the US tax regime and how it impacts its citizens enables him to deliver work ranging in complexity from basic US and UK tax returns through to PFIC reporting and GILTI.

Sam is both ATT and CTA qualified and a US Enrolled Agent.

Sam is a member of Buzzacott’s running club and loves hiking around the Yorkshire Dales. He’s an avid follower of Formula 1 and enjoys travelling the world and meeting new people.
