Neal provides personal tax advice to individuals and their family trusts, and companies. His key areas of expertise include:
Advising individuals coming to or leaving the UK regarding their UK residence status and exposure to UK taxes.
Succession strategies, including the set up and on-going advice in respect of appropriate family entities (e.g. trusts and companies). This includes pre-sale planning for business owners.
Property and investment structuring from a UK tax perspective, including the availability of associated tax reliefs (e.g. Principal Private Residence relief and Business Asset Disposal relief).
Neal supports his clients by giving considered advice, generally preferring a more simplistic approach where at all possible.
Neal is a Chartered Tax Adviser and has a STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
