"I enjoy working with clients who’ve created or identified successful businesses and are considering their next steps. Working with these individuals to deliver transactions and overcome challenges along the way makes my work both interesting and rewarding."

James joined Buzzacott in 2021 and is an Associate Director in our Corporate Finance team.

He works with owner managers, ambitious management teams and businesses looking to either exit or raise finance to take their business to the next level. He also works with private equity houses and banks performing due diligence on their target businesses. James works across a broad range of sectors, including technology, business services, healthcare and consumer products, and is experienced in anticipating and adapting to the unique challenges presented by differing industries.

Prior to joining Buzzacott, James worked at Roffe Swayne (now Azets) where he trained for his ACA and then joined the corporate finance department. He worked on numerous transactions from both a buy and sell side capacity working primarily with owner managers and entrepreneurial businesses.

Recognising the outcomes he produces for his clients, James has been shortlisted for the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year award as part of the upcoming Insider South East Dealmakers Awards 2023.

Outside of work, James likes to keep active and is a keen golfer and tennis player.
