Hannah McKeown

Hannah works with both SMEs and larger companies undertaking innovative R&D projects across sectors including software, architecture, biotechnology and engineering. She helps clients navigate challenges such as determining eligibility for R&D relief, identifying qualifying expenditure and preparing the necessary documentation to support their claims in line with evolving legislation.

Her work includes preparing R&D claims, assessing financial data, drafting technical project descriptions and reviewing client-prepared submissions to identify risk areas and strengthen documentation. She also supports clients through HMRC compliance checks and has experience assisting with grant funding applications. With a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Hannah brings strong technical knowledge and communication skills, enabling her to translate complex concepts into clear, accurate R&D reports.
