Gabriela Rumun - Senior Manager

Gabriela joined Buzzacott in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in our Corporate Assurance team.

Gabriela works with a mixture of FCA regulated firms, professional practices and corporates in the service and retail industry. She works closely with the tax team, outsourced accounting services team and private client team, which adds value to our clients as she can communicate with the relevant teams and assist our clients with any other queries. 

Gabriela works on a range of audits including architect firms, law firms, FCA regulated firms, solicitors’ accounts rules audits and CASS audits. In addition to carrying out the audit of a business, her work also includes accounts preparation, ensuring that these are in line with applicable legislation and accounting standards.  With SRA audits she ensures that the clients’ controls and procedures are in line with those required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. She also assists them in preparing statutory accounts, including detailed partners’ funds, which give partners an accurate breakdown of their capital and undrawn profits as well as upcoming tax payments.

Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys spending time with friends and family, eating different cuisines from around the world and travelling.
