Ben joined Buzzacott in 2019 and is a Manager in our Expatriate Tax Services team.
Ben assists high-net-worth individuals, small business owners, sole traders, and partnership partners, helping them to navigate US and UK dual taxation challenges. In the intricate US/UK tax landscape, Ben offers crucial guidance on income and asset treatment, providing clear and detailed support with annual US and UK tax filings. He is specifically experienced with helping clients moving between the US and the UK, addressing expatriation concerns, and facilitating catch ups on US tax filings.
By collaborating with our Private Client team, Ben also advises on the US and UK tax consequences for US citizen beneficiaries of UK trusts. In addition, he partners with our Financial Planning team to optimise clients' investments for UK and US tax efficiency.
Ben is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and is ATT and CTA qualified. He also holds a first-class degree in Mathematics with Economics. Outside of work, Ben enjoys running with his local club, weekend socialising with friends, and going to West Ham games with his dad.
