Alex Shepherd

Alex is a dual-qualified US and UK tax advisor specialising in cross-border personal taxation. He advises US citizens living in the UK on their compliance and planning obligations, helping to make complex rules clear and manageable.

He has experience across a range of US–UK tax matters, with a particular focus on internationally mobile individuals and tax residency. His work includes supporting clients with US reporting obligations linked to foreign corporations, as well as advising those relocating between the US and UK, both before and after their move. Alex is an Enrolled Agent (EA), licensed by the Internal Revenue Service, and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Outside of work, Alex is a lifelong Sunderland supporter and enjoys running and going to the gym.
