Black Sun PLC has merged with People Made Ltd in a deal we are pleased to have advised on. The two companies have joined forces to shape a new global group with the shared ambition to collectively spark positive change for brave brands and businesses worldwide.

Who are the firms involved

People Made is a brand and culture agency headquartered in London but with a global client base including some of the biggest brands in the world. It works with clients to define values, culture and employer brand identity and instigate change. Its services have proved incredibly popular and the company has grown significantly in recent years and looks towards further success with Black Sun group. 

Black Sun is a well established and award winning business in the sector offering a suite of services including corporate reporting, digital strategy and content strategy. 

What we liked about this deal and how we helped

We provided financial and tax due diligence services along with transaction advisory to help reduce the risks associated with the merger. People Made has had huge growth in recent years with the addition of a large number of high calibre clients . Because of this a key focus of our work was to assess whether this excellent performance was maintainable and to understand the underlying agreements in place with key customers. We really enjoyed supporting Adrian Fernandes (CFO, Black Sun Group) and David Christopherson (CEO, Black Sun) in highlighting key risk areas and ultimately seeing the transaction through to completion.
