Tony specialises in mergers and acquisitions tax and works with companies and their owners, supporting them with transactions, succession planning and tax efficient profit extraction for management.
Within the team, Tony provides tax due diligence, advises on acquisitions, disposals and other complex corporate reorganisations. He also provides advice on the negotiation of tax warranties and indemnities for inclusion in share sale agreements. He has lots of experience in dealing with tax issues arising from employment related securities and implementing EMI share schemes.
He works closely with our Corporate Finance team to understand the commercial objectives and constraints of a transaction with the aim of maximising shareholder value through tax efficient structuring.
Tony is a Chartered Tax Adviser and before joining Buzzacott he worked in Edinburgh advising private clients.
Away from the office, he enjoys travel, cricket and golf.
