Nyah joined Buzzacott in June 2019 and is a Director in our Private Client team.
Nyah manages a portfolio of trusts and estates which include UK, charitable and offshore trusts. She supports clients with the ever changing tax rules – explaining the complex nature of tax in a digestible way, putting it into context by using real life examples.
Nyah's specialist area is UK taxation and accounting. Nyah carries out annual compliance work, including preparing the accounts, tax returns, annual charity returns and form 50FS. She advises on the tax consequences of a wide range of events, including distributing funds to a beneficiary, setting up trusts, moving a trust from one tax jurisdiction to another and winding up the settlement.
Nyah works with the wider Private Client team in order to advise on the trust elements of their clients’ income and tax planning. She also works with Buzzacott’s Expatriate Tax team where there are both US tax and UK tax requirements to consider.
Prior to joining Buzzacott Nyah spent four and half years at Crowe UK. She is ATT, CTA and STEP qualified, with a degree in Accounting with Law.
Away from her desk, Nyah enjoys travelling and exploring new places, as well as going out with friends to new restaurants.
