During his time at the firm, he has worked with a broad range of charitable institutions, including educational organisations, theatrical, heritage and cultural charities, membership organisations and grant-making charities. He now specialises in managing statutory audits for religious orders and oversees accounts preparation work for a large proportion of his clients.
Internally, Matthew is a member of the charity team’s technical group and a mentor for the firm’s supervisory staff. He assists with the recruitment of new graduate trainees and also regularly delivers internal training on a variety of topics, as well as speaking at seminars for clients.
Outside of work, Matthew is a trustee for a nascent musical charity.
