He works with a wide range of clients including: individuals, trustees, executors, partnerships and limited companies.
Having recently left HMRC, Joe has in-depth knowledge of HMRC’s statutory powers and the way that they conduct their enquiries. Using this experience, he is able to make sure that his clients are protected and prepared for the whole process, ensuring that HMRC officers are operating within the confines of the law.
Prior to leaving HMRC, Joe led on the highest value and most complex cases within their Fraud Investigation Service’s portfolio, including a number of high profile Code of Practice 9 cases.
Joe’s experience will help guide you through the entire tax investigation process; taking you to resolution and ensuring that you do not pay any unnecessary tax, interest or penalties. As appropriate, he assists his clients to make disclosures, challenge HMRC decisions and bring long standing investigations to a conclusion.
Beyond his desk, Joe is a keen sportsman, and enjoys honing his culinary skills over a glass of red wine.
