Esther Barratt - Senior Manager

Esther joined Buzzacott in 2015 and is a Senior Manager in our Charity and Not for profit team.

She engages and supports a diverse range of not for profit clients, including theatrical and cultural charities, religious orders, membership organisations, social enterprises, academies and colleges. Esther advises them on the potential tax risks of their activities, as well as helping clients to make the most of tax relief and Gift Aid opportunities.  

Esther assists clients with the preparation and submission of tax returns, advising on charitable trading, employment tax, property transactions, fundraising, theatre tax relief, museum and galleries relief, identifying Gift Aid and other tax efficient giving solutions.

She works closely with the VAT Consultancy team, Charity Audit team and Corporate Tax team to offer a fully rounded service.

Esther joined Buzzacott as a graduate in the Charity Audit team and now works as a direct tax specialist. She is ACA and CTA qualified.  

Outside of work Esther enjoys playing the viola in a number of orchestras, as well as spending time with friends and family.
