Thursday 7 March 2019

R&D claims in the architectural sector are between 10% to 20% of staff costs, providing a cash saving of £24,000 for every £100,000 of qualifying spend identified. However, making a successful claim takes a nose for detail and we appreciate the burden of the tax and regulatory requirements.

Hosted by our resident R&D expert, Iain Butler, we'll discuss the risks and financial benefits of making a claim and answer any questions you may have on the tax credits scheme. Attendees from our last event found that the session provided a “useful broad overview” and that the content was “architecturally applied”. Another attendee called the session a “very lovely start to the morning”.

We’ve worked with HMRC on complex claims and understand what they need, and more importantly why they need certain information. At this roundtable, Iain will draw on his own engineering, innovation and development background to steer the discussion and provide insight into how you can prepare your claims to get the best possible result, keeping HMRC (and your bank balance) happy.

You are welcome to be as vocal as you like, but we also welcome those of you who would like to simply come and listen.
