Lauren specialises in supporting large groups. Her interests include the additional compliance required of larger companies, including group relief claims and corporate interest restriction returns. This goes hand in hand with her tax advisory focus on cross-border tax issues including transfer pricing, hybrid mismatch, withholding taxes and group structuring.
She further assists her clients with the preparation and submission of corporation tax returns, including advising on quarterly instalment payments, capital allowance reviews and the availability of various reliefs. She works closely with the audit team to support her client’s needs and provide a joined-up approach.
Lauren joined Buzzacott after completing her Mathematics BSc and Pure Mathematics MSc at the University of Manchester. She is a dual qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor with the ICAEW and CIOT.
Outside of client work, Lauren is passionate about training and takes a leading role supporting the graduates in the Business Tax team.
Away from her desk she enjoys socialising with friends, baking and regular trips home to Ireland.
