We were delighted to support Liberate Wealth recently in their acquisition of Ebor Financial Planning. The Buzzacott team provided financial and tax due diligence reviews and buy-side advisory services.
Liberate Wealth is a wealth management company specialising in supporting IFA firms across the UK to deliver better outcomes for clients and staff. They are implementing both a ‘buy and build’ approach and an organic growth strategy, implementing market leading technology whilst maintaining a human touch.
The leadership team is one of the strongest and most experienced we have worked with, having fulfilled various senior roles across the wealth management and IFA sectors throughout their careers. Together they possess a deep understanding of what it takes for IFAs to deliver successful outcomes for their clients.
Ebor Financial Planning is an IFA with the perfect profile for Liberate Wealth to commence their growth journey. The combination of an impressive client base and an effective team led by five advisers will act as a powerful springboard for further growth and acquisitions.
We enjoyed working closely with each party on the transaction to ensure a deal was reached. With IFAs of this size and type, the Buzzacott team are well versed in extracting and processing the underlying financial data for our client to be able to make transactional and commercial decisions.
