Organisations are also seeing the sense in supporting their staffs’ personal development to help maintain their focus, morale and competitive edge. Leaders appreciate the opportunity to use a coach as an independent sounding board, particularly if they are in ‘crisis management mode’. An experienced coach will be trained to create the space for them to think, help review their actions and plan ahead. Team members appreciate the opportunity to reflect upon their performance and start working on the areas they need to develop to move to the next level.
