He works with high-net-worth individuals with international aspects, advising on the UK taxation of UK resident, non-UK resident and non-UK domiciled individuals, and their structures.
Paul and his team prepare and file personal tax returns, Trust Registration Service submissions, Register of Overseas Entities submissions and Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) returns. They also provide bespoke advice on residence, remittances and offshore trusts.
The challenges Paul’s clients typically face involve ensuring compliance with the ever-increasing reporting burdens and navigating a very complex tax system. Paul supports his clients by making sure they are up to date with changes in legislation and by advising on complex rules using simple to understand language.
Paul is ATT and CTA qualified.
Prior to joining Buzzacott, Paul worked at a boutique international tax practice. Prior to that, he spent nine years at BDO, and before that, he worked at two small North London accountancy firms.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys travel, hiking and golf.
