Patrick Walker - Assistant Manager

Patrick joined Buzzacott in 2015 and is an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Assurance team.

Patrick supports businesses large and small (reporting under both UK GAAP and IFRS), working with a range of clients, with a particular focus on technology companies, FCA regulated businesses, consultancy and service organisations. He has worked with several clients which are just starting up or growing quickly. His assurance expertise encompasses statutory and non-statutory audits of financial statements, preparing financial statements, bespoke assurance engagements and financial reporting advice.

Working closely with his colleagues in our tax team, Patrick supports corporates with the challenges that growth presents, including the changes in reporting requirements as businesses move from small to medium to large entities, implementation of appropriate financial controls, accounting for consolidation correctly and advising on the differences in accounting treatment and disclosure requirements.

Patrick enjoys the challenge of understanding different businesses, how they work and their plans for the future.

Patrick is an ACA Chartered Accountant who joined Buzzacott in August 2015 after completing his A-Levels. Outside work he is an Explorer Scout Leader with a passion for adventurous activities and travelling.
