Mel Dodd - Director

Mel joined Buzzacott in 2015 and is a Director in our Corporate Assurance team.

She specialises in financial services and her clients range from entrepreneurial start-up businesses to large international groups. Mel manages a portfolio which includes asset managers, investment advisers and private equity groups.

Mel focuses on providing assurance and advisory services to her clients including:

Audits of statutory financial statements
Preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS
Financial reporting advice
Limited assurance reviews

She works closely with other teams in the firm such as Corporate Tax, VAT and Financial Sector Outsourcing to support her clients’ needs.

Outside of her client work, Mel is also involved with providing regular training for graduates and apprentices. Mel joined the firm as a graduate and is now ACA qualified. Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis and supports Ipswich Town FC.
