Megan Wilson - Assistant Manager

Megan joined Buzzacott in 2018 and is an Assistant Manager in our Private Client team.

Megan works with private clients who have a variety of unique circumstances, from business owners to high-net-worth individuals. 

The tax system is often unfamiliar territory for many clients. Megan aims to support and protect clients from non-compliance, while providing tailored advice to help them achieve their objectives. She supports with the submission of self-assessment tax returns, 60-day filing for UK residential properties, and advice on residence and domicile for international clients. 

Megan also works with non-resident landlord companies to assist with tax returns, Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED) compliance, and advising on the holding structure of the UK property.

For business owner and Partner clients, Megan works collaboratively with our Corporate and Professional Practices teams to provide accounts preparation, audit, corporation/partnership tax returns, and self-assessment tax returns. This collaborative approach allows for a streamlined process from start to finish, with as little disturbance to the client as possible. She also works closely with the Tax Investigations team when supporting individuals, as well as non-resident landlord companies that were previously unaware of UK filing obligations, to bring their filings up to date.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys running and is hoping in the future to complete her first marathon.
