Leon joined Buzzacott in 2012 and is a Manager in our Corporate Business Services team.
He works with SMEs who are typically FCA regulated investment management or advisory firms. Leon supports clients in the setup and implementation of new accounting systems and technical queries on how to account for certain transactions or actions. He and the team assist from the start to ensure the systems in place are efficient for the purpose of the company applicable.
Leon has knowledge of many accounting software programmes and systems that allow for different ways of producing management accounts and reports to assist with financial decision making. Overall the team carry out management accounts, VAT returns, FCA workings and preparation of financial statements.
Leon works closely with Buzzacott’s VAT, FCA, payroll, audit and tax teams to ensure that all of the client’s financial actions are kept on top of and are all on the same page with the accounts.
He is ACCA qualified and in his spare time enjoys sports; especially football, hiking and scuba diving.
