Jonathan joined Buzzacott in 2017 and is an Assistant Manager in our Business Services team.
He works with clients across a variety of sectors, ranging from investment management, technology, convents, cosmetics firms, law firms and many others. The primary challenge Jonathan supports them with is paying employees on time. The team offer a BACs service and implement a timeframe for clients so they are aware when they will receive the payroll, when approval is needed and when submissions will be made.
Jonathan and the team process client payrolls from start to finish based on client data. Once processed, he carries out an internal check within the team to decrease the margin for error. Once the internal check has been completed, he sends the payroll reports to the client for review and approval. Upon approval, payslips and a series of payroll reports are issued to the client, and a final submission of the returns to HMRC.
Jonathan works closely with Buzzacott’s Financial Planning team, who look after the majority of our pension based clients.
He is AAT Level 2 qualified and is currently studying for a Foundation Degree in Payroll Management.
Outside of the office, he enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit, as well as watching football and travelling.
