Helen Haynes - Assistant Payroll Manager.

Helen joined Buzzacott in 2015 and is an Assistant Payroll Manager in our Business Services team.

She works with clients ranging from businesses in the financial and retail sectors to charities. Helen supports companies in the set-up of their payroll and navigating auto-enrolment, registering for new PAYE schemes and understanding UK rules for overseas clients.

Helen and the team process monthly and quarterly payrolls for clients from start to finish, making the submissions to HMRC and BACS payments on their behalf. As well as this, she is involved in the pension set ups for auto-enrolment and liaising with our pension team. Helen often works closely with Buzzacott’s Management Accounts, Financial Planning and HR Consultancy teams.

Her areas of specialist knowledge include PAYE, submitting BACS payments and additional annual benefits such as P11ds and PSA Settlement Agreements. She and the team won the best leading payroll services team at the Hedge Fund Awards. 

Helen has 18 years of payroll experience, with a career break to look after her three children. She previously worked for an investment company, for nine years, and also worked in a payroll bureau and within other in-house payroll teams.

Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the theatre, reading and watching sports, especially rugby.
