Meera Shah named as one of the UK's top accountants under the age of 35

Meera Shah, Senior Manager in our Corporate Finance team, has been named as one of the UK's top 35 accountants under the age of 35 by Accountancy Age!

We are proud to announce that Meera Shah, Senior Manager in our Corporate Finance team, has been included in the Accountancy Age 35 under 35 ranking. The list showcases rising stars of the accountancy profession, featuring those who have made great professional contributions to the field and their firm.

Meera joined Buzzacott in 2018 from the valuations team at Smith & Williamson, where she also completed her training. During her time in Buzzacott's corporate finance team, she has been highly successful in developing her expertise in the service, her reputation in the industry as well as assisting with the development of the team. Some of the clients Meera has worked with, advising on a range of transactional and key stakeholder work, include ehouse, Trinny, Freo, MWS Technology and Underground Vaults and Storage.

Meera's interest in the sector extends beyond her day-to-day job. Most notably, she was invited to join the board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ Corporate Finance faculty this year, and is also a mentor with The Girls’ Network.
