Team engagement and motivation are critical to the success of any organisation. Studies show that motivated employees are more productive, more likely to make a discretionary effort and less likely to leave. “Motivation” will help you to understand the origins of motivation and how in your role you can apply certain principles to increase motivation through delegation.
At the end of this session you will:
- Understand the common factors that motivate people
- Know how to use a toolkit to improve your ability to motivate others
- Be able to delegate more effectively
Many people who manage and supervise others have taken on these roles through natural progression. Buzzacott's New Manager Pathway fills that gap between technical expertise and people management capability.
This programme is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) as a development programme, and is designed to help delegates acquire the skills and confidence they need to fulfill their roles as supervisory managers. Successful completion of the full programme and assessment will give delegates the opportunity to achieve an ILM endorsed accreditation.
This module can be undertaken separately or as part of the full ILM endorsed New Manager Pathway Programme, allowing each delegate to tailor the training to their individual development needs.

Each individual module costs £300.00 + VAT (per delegate) and the full New Manager Pathway (seven modules) costs £1,850 + VAT (per delegate). This fee includes light refreshments, training materials, assessment and the initial ILM registration fee which is payable in advance of the training.
