About this event:
Many Livery Companies support registered charities, and the trustees are or are drawn from, the Company’s Court. This event will offer guidance for trustees and management on key areas of charity regulation which trustees should, as a minimum, be aware of.
The training will cover elements of the trustee’s duties, such as legal responsibilities, including stewardship of investments, requirements regarding public benefit, and strategic aspects of charity management, including risk management, reserves policies and grant-making.
