Simon Wax

Simon is a Partner of the firm and works in the Corporate and Business Services team. He specialises in providing efficient and robust audits of large global listed groups, as well as UK private companies, predominately in the media sector. He also performs due diligence work in respect of corporate transactions including acquisitions and financing.

Simon has significant experience in both UK GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is a member of the Buzzacott technical committee and is one of the firms' key contacts for IGAF.

Since qualifying with BDO in January 2002, Simon has advised clients across all areas of the media sector in both audit and corporate finance. He also worked in corporate banking, where he advised on a number of acquisition financing deals before joining Buzzacott in September 2008.
