Cheryl Gowdie

Cheryl is Managing Director of the HR Consultancy service. She gained extensive HR and line management experience while working in a variety of sectors including private, public and not-for-profit.

Cheryl worked in a variety of operational and strategic roles before moving to Buzzacott. She worked as an Interim HR Manager for a number of years and gained extensive insight and experience of organisations of various shapes and sizes. Such roles involved the development and improvement of HR’s capability to improve business performance. She has also guided organisations through the process needed to deliver strategic change programmes such as Mergers, Redundancy, Investors in People Accreditation, Organisational Development and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE).

Cheryl is an experienced Coach and Trainer. She coaches individuals at various levels as well as develops and delivers a variety of leadership & management programmes to enhance individual and organisational performance. She also works as a part-time Lecturer on various Master Degree programmes at Birkbeck, University of London.

Cheryl studied English and European Community Law at University then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CFCIPD), a trained Mediator and certified by the British Psychological Society to administer Psychometric and Personality tools.
