Cheryl Gowdie

Cheryl is Director of Human Resources, heads up the HR Consultancy service. She gained extensive HR and line management experience while working in a variety of sectors including private, public and not-for-profit.

Cheryl worked in a variety of operational and strategic roles before moving to Buzzacott. She worked as an Interim HR Manager for a number of years and gained extensive insight and experience of organisations of various shapes and sizes. Such roles involved the development and improvement of HR’s capability to improve business performance. She has also guided organisations through the process needed to deliver strategic change programmes such as Mergers, Redundancy, Investors in People Accreditation, Organisational Development and Transfer of Undertaking (TUPE). More recently she has been working as a part-time lecturer on the MSc in Change Management and Consultancy course at Birkbeck, University of London.

Cheryl studied English and European Community Law at University then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CFCIPD) and a trained mediator.
