Alastair McQuater

Alastair is one of the firm's business tax partners and works with each of the specialist teams to provide tax strategy and planning services to a broad range of commercial and not for profit organisations and their owners.

Recent experience includes a large number of structuring projects for FSA regulated businesses, planning for professional partnerships, cross border tax planning for companies and LLPs, property tax planning for Charities, pre-transaction tax planning for corporate transactions and the negotiation of tax warranties and indemnities for inclusion in share sale agreements.

Alastair has specialised in business taxation since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1993. He is also a Chartered Tax Adviser and headed the tax team in a general practice firm before joining Buzzacott in 2001.
