AIM News: InterQuest expands with £4.6m takeover

AIM-listed recruitment firm InterQuest has widened its scope with the £4.6 million acquisition of Contract Connections (CCL).

The deal will help InterQuest reach its goal of boosting its services in the legal industry, and will also see it expand further across the country.

InterQuest executive chairman Gary Ashworth said: "CCL's successful growth in recent years as a provider of technology professionals to leading law firms has been impressive and we believe that the company will prosper yet further as part of the enlarged InterQuest group."

The deal will boost InterQuest's contractor ranks by 170, and will also provide what it describes as a strong "managed services division".

CCL, which as well as providing staff for the legal industry also works in a range of other sectors including finance, insurance and the media, enjoyed revenues of £10 million in the year to May 31 this year.
