Charity Budget Insight

As described in our summary of the Chancellor’s 2010 Budget Report (available on this website) very few significant changes were announced in the Budget held on 24 March. However, there were a few announcements made which impact directly on the charity and general not-for-profit sector.

Unfortunately, no amendments have as yet been published in relation to the somewhat controversial Substantial Donors Anti-Avoidance legislation which the sector has eagerly awaited following the Government’s consultation paper on Substantial Donors.
