Trustee Training Workshop
Thursday 15th November 2012
Our hugely popular free Trustee Training Workshop is repeated three times throughout the year and provides trustees with an overview of their responsibilities in key areas. The workshop also provides guidance for charity senior managers who are seeking guidance on which of the key areas of charity regulation their trustees should, as a minimum, be aware of.
The training includes elements of Trustees' duties such as:
• Legal responsibilities including stewardship of investments
• Requirements regarding public benefit
• Strategic aspects of charity management including risk management, reserves policies and grant making
• Trustees’ liability
We believe this training session can quickly and effectively make or keep trustees aware of the key aspects of their responsibilities. This general awareness raising can be supplemented by more in depth consideration of specific areas, which we offer through further seminars and workshops or bespoke presentations to trustee boards and committees.
Speakers include Amanda Francis, Managing Partner and Edward Finch, Charity Partner.
Registration for this seminar is at 2:00pm for a 2:30pm start. Ends at 6:00pm with refreshments. This seminar is free of charge and will be held at the Buzzacott offices:
