Trustee Training Workshop

Our Trustee Training Workshop provides trustees with an overview of their responsibilities in key areas. Whilst directed primarily at trustees, the workshop may also be suitable for charity senior managers who are seeking guidance on the key areas of charity regulation of which their trustees should, as a minimum, be aware.
The training includes elements of trustees’ duties such as:
- Legal responsibilities including stewardship of investments
- The new requirements regarding public benefit
- Strategic aspects of charity management including risk management, reserves policies and grant making
- Trustees’ liability
We believe this training session can quickly and effectively make or keep trustees aware of the key aspects of their responsibilities. This general awareness raising can be supplemented by more in depth consideration of specific areas, which we offer through further seminars and workshops or bespoke presentations to trustee boards and committees.
