  • Managing performance to get high performing teams: High performing teams develop their own special set of characteristics. High performing individuals tend towards high levels of motivation, drive and energy. They can also manifest some shadow characteristics including competitiveness, forthright approaches and can come across aggressively. We look at maintaining and improving their success while exploring ways of containing unhelpful behaviours so that the team continues to thrive.
  • Difficult conversations: There will always be occasions when as managers we will be faced with the uncomfortable duty of having to deliver important messages to employees that we know they will not want to hear. How we handle that conversation in the moment will largely determine how that news is received and processed, so why is that we are so bad at it? In this session we will look at some of the tools and techniques you can use to ensure that you deliver your message with confidence, manage emotions and stay in control.
  • Managing change: Managing your team through change can make for a challenging journey. Out of their familiar spaces, rhythms, processes, tasks etc., anxiety levels can rise leading to unhelpful mind sets and behaviours. We will explore how people respond to change, the resistance you can expect to face and how you can provide for your team’s smooth transition through the event of change.
  • Communicating with impact: The focus of communication is to ensure that your message is simply told, accepted and understood by others and that you strongly influence within your communications to reduce error and misunderstanding. In this session we will look at improving your abilities in assertiveness and the processes of feedback management.
