Becoming a partner

We are delighted to invite you to an evening update on areas to consider when becoming a new partner on Wednesday 8 June at Buzzacott’s offices.

Becoming a partner in a business is an exciting time, yet this transition from employee to partner is not always straight forward. Juggling the success of your new role and leaving behind the old, may require you to re-evaluate your finances, especially how to approach your tax affairs and financial planning.

Rachel O’Donoghue, Financial Planning team Partner, and Alastair McQuater, Corporate & Business Services team Partner,  will be teaming up to bring you their expertise on the elements you need to consider when taking on your new role as a partner, and how to protect yourself during this change.

We are also delighted to welcome RCR Partner Victoria Ash who will be sharing her Business Development experiences on how she works with partners to tap into new markets and grow their client base.
What you will discover:

  • The tax implications and differences (employee v. partner).
  • Capital contributions – arranging finances in the correct manner.
  • Cash flow planning – possible changes to pension contributions, savings/ investments and personal insurances.
  • How to channel your business development strategy to generate new leads and using resources efficiently.

Who is it for?
Partners or approaching partners of Professional Practices.
