Amanda Francis Managing Partner Amanda joined Buzzacott in 1987 as a graduate trainee and became Managing Partner in 2010. She is also a partner in our Charities team and advises a wide range of charitable and not-for-profit organisations, with a special focus on religious orders and other religious, welfare and service charities. Amanda’s areas of expertise include charity audit and accounting as well as general commercial advice on all aspects of running a charity or a charity’s trading company. She is a co-author of Charity Accounting and Taxation, published by Bloomsbury Professional Publishing, and contributes regularly to the Association of Provincial Bursars annual conference and other conferences aimed at the sector. She is also a contributor to Buzzacott’s ‘Trustee Training’ and ‘Accounts for Non-Accountants’ events. As a Trustee, Amanda is a member of the governing bodies of the Royal Star & Garter Homes and of ifs University College and she is a Dame of the Pontifical Order of St Sylvester.
